The following partners offer programs and services to businesses throughout Connecticut. They provide advice, expertise and information that can help you successfully launch or expand a business.

Connecticut Licensing Info Center provides access to licensing and registration information needed to start a business.

CTNext equips startups and entrepreneurs with resources, guidance and networks to accelerate their growth and success.

The CT Small Business Development Center provides no cost advising services to both prospective and existing business owners to help them start or expand a business.

CT Works provides no cost assistance to employers in the areas of recruitment, training, education, and business information.  They provide service through their one stop career centers in NW CT and are backed by a system of workforce development professionals.  CT Works partners with you to help you reach your goals.

DECD is in the business of growing your business. The department offers a wide range of programs and services to help companies prosper in Connecticut. They provide financial, tax incentive, technical assistance and more.

The Housatonic Industrial Development Corp helps Connecticut’s small businesses grow, create or retain jobs and achieve economic development goals within the state.

The Small Business Express Program provides loans and grants to CT’s small businesses to spur job creation and growth.

SCORE is a non-profit association and resource partner with the Small Business Administration dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses. Working and retire executives and business owners who share expertise across more than 60 industries donate their time as volunteer business counselors, providing free, on-going mentoring and education to help you grow or start a business.

U.S. Small Business Administration provides financial assistance, counseling, training and contracting assistance to small businesses throughout the country.
